How To Get Help Automatically If I Fall And Am Laying There for Days. What Can I Do?

There is NOW a system available that will alert neighbors, friends or 911 if you are unable to get to the phone. The best part is there is no monthly charge.

Assistive Technology Services calls this our "Social Safety Monitor"

What is a Social Safety Monitor? Simply set an alarm in the unit to go off at a certain time each day. If the alarm is not turned off within 30 minutes this unit will begin to call the phone numbers that are programmed in it. This will call and alert the people on the call list that the person being monitored has not turned off their alarm. This could indicate that there is a situation with the monitored person and assistance is needed. This is the perfect feature to ensure that someone is active each and every day.

OTHER FEATURES: Store up to 6 telephone numbers for each type of emergency. The wireless pendant can be used to activate the speakerphone for any incoming call.

Talkback - The unit will repeat (speak) each number as you program it during programming mode.

Caller ID - If you have caller ID service activated on your phone line, the dialer will announce all incoming caller's telephone numbers.

Social Safety Alarm - The unit can be set to alarm at the time you choose once a day. If the alarm is not turned off within 30 minutes, the unit will automatically begin calling the phone numbers you have listed.

This unit will connect to any standard residential phone line. In the event of an emergency, press the button on the base unit or the button on the wireless remote control pendant.

The unit will autodial up to 6 pre-programmed emergency contacts. A pre-recorded personalized message alerts the person who answers that an emergency exists. Did someone's answering machine or voice mail answer? No Worries. The unit's auto-dialer cycles through the pre-programmed telephone numbers for up to 15 minutes or until a contact responds by pressing the appropriate button on their telephone pad. Once the call is answered, the called party can activate the unit's speakerphone by pushing specific buttons on their phone. (Friends and family will be able to control the unit from wherever they are.) This will allow loud and clear two-way communication and let the called party listen to or monitor the situation.

Did the power go off? No problem, this unit has a battery back-up (one 9V battery, not included).

This unit can be mounted on a desk or wall. 100

Foot range from pendant to base unit.
