Childcare Centers Have Options When It Comes To Security. Do You Know What One Option Is?

Assistive Technology Services continues to work with the elderly and children. There seems to be similar needs for both groups. One of the needs that we have worked on in the recent years is Childcare security.

There are many options to consider; cameras, door locks, alarms, etc.

The most immediate need is the ability for the employees to be able to notify EACH OTHER and EMERGENCY help at the same time in the event of an emergency.

What are some types of emergencies?

-A child was injured

-A child needs immediate medical attention

-A child was taken away

-A child is missing

-There is an intruder and a lockdown needs to take place

-There is a facility emergency such as a fire or tornado http://assistivetechnologyservices.com/BusinessEmergencyAlert.aspx

There are many situations that arise when an alert should be sounded and assistance called for. One solution that we offer is a wireless pendant that is carried by each employee.

The pendant when activated sounds an alarm (optionally flashing lights) and dials pre-programmed telephone numbers and delivers a personally recorded voice message.

This system is a very inexpensive solution for a serious need.
